Quick Creations GDT: Rudolph in Winter

As most of you girls know now , I barely color unless I NEED to. but this image was totally screaming for something to be done & borrowing my kidlets paint pens....I couldn't help myself. The pattern paper was a one off sheet from a 6x6 stack somewhere that I received in a recent swap so perfect for this reindeer from Magnolia Stamps. The white space killed me , but as I had the idea in my head & went full on once my paper was matted on a dark brown base.

Quick Creations GDT: Birthday Card

Thanks again to Miss Noelle for giving me another Guest DT position with Quick Creations with this uber cute stamp from C. C. Designs. As most of you know ,  I LOVE paper piecing..this card was totally great for this. My frame was from a Australian company that was given to me from a friend & now totally hooked on them. I thought my card was 6x6 size but wasn't til I was cutting pieces out and realizing hmmm maybe I've got so carried in the moment I didn't measure anything :O which is so NOT me lol . Kinda messed up on the grey balloon, but hope that doesn't distract you from trying to paper piece it yourselves. The bling was a last minute decision but happy with the way it turned out.

Sin City Stamps project

As some of you ladies know I was applying for another Design Team ( *waves to Sin City Stamps*) , this is part 2 of my application process..Here goes on my project .I love paper piecing so given the chance to shine out my kick ass skills , I will show you how I worked on my project with my Prima girl stamp ,which of course you all know I couldn't help myself


Tools I used were :
 Gelato colors : Black , Cherry Red & Guava
Prima girl stamp : Doll with Ruffle Dress
Pattern paper is from : Die Cuts with a View , A Type of Art Stack
Chipboard  flower from I THINK ..Maya Road that was cut in half
Stickles are : Black Diamond

I smudged my gelatos around the background of my white base that my Prima girl was stamped on & added a little bit of water as I used the paintbrush. My Fiskars micro tip scissors are awesome for cutting up paper for the  girl's dress. Gluing as you go is totally needed , as having to add Stickles is best once things are added your base.

Quick Creations Guest DT: Gorjuss Christmas

As my favorite time of year to make cards is normally any other occasion , I braved myself to paper piece a AWESOME gorjuss girl & totally great for Christmas. I always find ways to use up my scrap papers, but this time...I went totally nuts & used up some new papers. I am a newbie to using stickles but totally couldn't help myself using up some on every chance I had for this card. The  base which lucky for me is my 6x6 new favorite.

Quick Creations Holiday Hop

Perfect paper , perfect stamped image, snowflake, yes well random luck that I had it on hand. Meant to have it for just that simple saved project that I never worked on. But thanks to Miss Noelle, I just HAD to use it for my card. Stickles were waiting to dry, I couldn't help adding more. I used the Whimsy Stamp - Snowman String of Hearts stamp...that I am totally loving & wishing there was snow in New Zealand so I could use it more often.

Welcome to my blog....I know a long process that has taken years of arm twisting to do , but alas I'm here & will tell you a few little details about myself. I am a working mumma of 3 kidlets. Paris , Cameron & Jeyda.My partner of 9+ years David, which every site I stalk, I call him The Scrap Widow...as he is my biggest enabler... I am a scrapbooker first & foremost . I started back in May 2005 ,which started a addiction to paper. Fast forward a few years, say about 2008ish..I discovered I love making cards with my paper scraps which I totally save. Another addiction that lead to more paper being used was when I won a blog prize of my 1st Smash book. If I'm not working 6 nights , you will find me out with my bestie Zac ( he's gay & AWESOME) & my female bestie Raewyn.   Worse case, I'm home cleaning the never ending mess of house. I collect cow things that is why Leah helped me name my blog.
